Setting up utm tags and postback in CPA.RU

UTM (Urchin Tracking Module) – “a tracking module from Urchin Software. The UTM tag itself is a set of variables consisting of GET requests. The data from these variables can be easily deciphered by popular analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrika.

Our system supports standard UTM tags that are added to the URL:

Campaign Source (utm_source) Use the utm_source parameter to identify a search engine, an email newsletter, or any other source. For example, utm_source=instagram
Traffic type (utm_medium) Use utm_medium to identify the type of traffic, such as banner, email, etc. For example, utm_medium=banner2.
Campaign content
(utm_content)
Use utm_content to distinguish ads that contain the same keywords, can be useful for ad testing. Examples: utm_content=logo Or utm_content=text_link
Campaign name (utm_campaign) Use utm_campaign to identify a campaign or ad. For example, utm_source=fatkillerconversion

Example:

  • http://cpatds.pro/?target=-AAI4TgFAAAAAAAAAAAAABKqGS5YAAAA&utm_source=insta &utm_medium=carousel1&utm_content=1342 &utm_campaign=fatkillerde

To transfer postbacks from CPA.RU in the tracker you will need to use the reverse URL transfer (S2S postback URL).
You can use 3 URL postbacks in the system.

Add URL Postbacks you can in the tab “Settings“They will be automatically applied to all offerers. If necessary, it is possible to add a postback separately to each offerer.

Settings tab:

Adding a postback on the page of the offerer:

  • Postback for the lead – informs about actions and balance changes (payments).
  • Postback for Hold – informs about new orders that are placed on hold (pending).
  • Postback for cancelled – informs about changes in lead status: canceled – canceled lead, trash – random numbers or letters, test leads.

After adding links in the settings or on the page of the offerer it is necessary to apply the changes by clicking “Save.”

The following tokens are provided in the system:

  • clickid – A unique click id in the system.
  • revenue – price per lead.
  • status – the status of the lead.
  • offer_id. – a unique offer in the system.
  • trans_id – The unique identifier of the transaction in our system.
  • datetime – Leed time in the format ‘YYYY-mm-dd HH:MM:SS’
  • timestamp – UNIX timestamp.

Tokens are used in curly brackets, e.g, &offer_id={offer_id}.

Examples of tracker usage:

Voluum Tracker:
http://kasdkiiw.voluumtrk2.com/postback – unchanged part of the link, issued by the tracker.
Next, we match the tracker macros with the macros of the partner network, since the names of the macros are different:

cid={clickid}&payout={revenue}&txid={trans_id}

Getting a postback URL ready:

http://kasdkiiw.voluumtrk2.com/postback?cid={clickid}&payout={revenue}&txid={trans_id}

This way the tracker will get information about the unique click in which the conversion was made (lead, instagram, revshare, etc.), the cost of the conversion and the unique number of the transaction.
